About Milestones DJ

First and foremost, I’m a father to a great group of kids and husband to a wonderful woman (and Milestones DJ‘s office manager). My “other job” is owner of Shift+4 Marketing, a marketing, PR and design firm that I started back circa 1990.

I started the mobile disc-jockey business (originally named BONK! Productions – see photo below) in the south bay area (San Jose, Santa Cruz, Monterey, etc.) just out of high school in 1987.

In 2001, we relocated to Auburn, CA and in 2010 we changed the business name to Milestones DJ to emphasize our commitment to helping our customers celebrate the milestones of their lives – weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, graduations, engagements, etc.

While Milestones DJ is certainly not the cheapest DJ company you’ll find (not the most expensive, either – by far), we do promise you that you won’t find a professional wedding DJ business that will work harder to make sure that your wedding or other event turns out even better than you imagined (just read our references pages). We spend many, many hours preparing music, talking with every single one of our customers, consulting with the event coordinators and other professional vendors, and we arrive very early to make sure that everything is up and running smoothly before your guests arrive.
